Far too often, I have witnessed the children and spouses of a deceased individual fight tooth and nail over their assets after their passing.  I’ve seen many heirs hire their own attorney’s and spend tens of thousands of dollars in separate legal fees battling over the assets of their deceased loved one.  Families are often torn apart over such in-fighting.  Sadly, many such tragedies could easily have been avoided by the drafting of a very simple and affordable will prior to their death.
